Fort Collins food: cupcakes and Colorado-style Pizza

In the manner of Pike Schemes, we stopped to sample a Colorado cupcake.

I tried the chocolate with chocolate frosting and also the "yummy" flavor. It was lemon poppy seed with jam filling and a butter cream frosting. It lived up to its name.

Thad took us for some Colorado-style Pizza. It was warm and humid and after we settled ourselves outside it began to pour. We toughed it out for awhile, but eventually retreated indoors. As soon as we settled ourselves inside, the rain stopped.

I am Colorado-style Pizza's newest fan. The pizza comes with a big crust. You eat the pizza part, then put some honey on your plate and dip the crust into the honey. It's like dinner and dessert all in one.
