We've progressed from Thunderstone Advance, to Thunderstone in our our quest to play all of our board games in reverse alphabetical order.
The stand-in camera can't take a non-blurry picture, so I will report to you that the box says 45 minutes play time.

Why is the box always such a liar? I suspect it's because the game developers play the game so much that they get really good at it & zip through it fast. Then they lose perspective on how hard the game will be for noobs.

Who are the people who play it initially to determine that number? Game testers outside of the company? Interesting...
